Anatomical dissection - upper limb (videos)
Anatomical dissection of the upper limb contains educational video recordings of dissections performed on cadavers in dissection rooms of Department of Anatomy. They are intended for students of medicine in order to acquaint them with anatomical structures of the human body as well as to extend their preparation for practical exercises. Documentation videos are supplemented with descriptions of individual anatomical structures and expert commentary.
This work was supported by the national grant KEGA 017UPJŠ-4/2016 "Visualization of education in human anatomy using video records of dissections and multimedia teaching materials".
Videos for practical lessons from Anatomy 1 - Upper Limb
Educational videos are intended for studying bones, joints and muscles of the upper limb. Teachers from Department of anatomy explain important anatomical structures for students of General medicine. Videos can be used for individual studying. Videos make learning simpler, faster and more efficient.
Anatomy of upper and lower extremity from orthopaedic view
This contribution offers lecture notes with complementary illustrative pictures for students of general medicine. These lectures should be used as supplementary education material in the study subject Anatomy. The lectures include topics related to the anatomy of upper extremity and anatomy of lower extremity from orthopaedic view.
A two stage non extraction treatment of distoocclusion with proclination of upper incisors (AII/1)
A two stage treatment of distoocclusion with proclination of upper incisors (AII/1) is very efficient in correctly indicated cases and the timing of the treatment is essential. During the growth spurt the removable functional appliance is placed in the mouth (in this case bionator) to provide the bite shift to AI class and to raise the deep bite by correctly trimmed functional appliance. The second phase of the treatment with fixed appliance is reduced and only the anomalies of the position of individual teeth are corrected.
Are the case reports useful for you? Would you also require case reports from other clinical disciplines? Do you have any comments or suggestions for improvement? Please provide your feedback by filling out a short questionnaire.
