The presented textbook material „Chemistry of Dental Materials” is intended for students of dentistry and aims to provide them with a sufficient theoretical basis on which they can build during their further studies. The basic framework of the university textbook consists of information on the chemical composition and chemical interactions of specific dental materials, knowledge of which is important for a better understanding of their application in practice.

The presentation is beginning with the definition and purpose of subcutaneous sutures, continuing through step-by-step technical guidance, and culminating in comparative overviews of skin suturing and stapling methods. Each section is clearly titled, with corresponding summary slides that reinforce the main learning objectives. The first part accurately defines the subcutaneous (subcuticular or subdermal) suture as a closure technique placed in the fatty tissue beneath the dermis to eliminate dead space and reduce surface tension.

The university textbook entitled "Introduction to MS Access – Databases not only for medical students" is intended for medical students, students of nontechnical universities and all beginners in working with databases. It introduces the readers to the issues of database data processing and explains the basic principles that need to be known when creating relational types of databases.

Exercises are gathered into bigger groups by topics. Exercises are arranged into weeks, in summer term (ST) and winter term (WT), like it is in Syllabus of Lectures and practical exercises (ST, WT). Students can apply their manual skill in performing of the experiments, and also train their ability in evaluation of results.

Knowledge of the structure and function of chemical substances and compounds, as well as their interactions and factors which can influence these interactions are very important for study Medical Chemistry and Biochemistry. The supporting materials is based on the secondary school curriculum of chemistry, and represent the summarization of knowledge’s from high school, extended by new knowledge necessary especially for the subsequent study of medical biochemistry. The repetitorium is divided into several chapters and represents a summary of knowledge focused mainly on bioorganic chemistry, including structures, nomenclature and typical reactions.

The electronic textbook "Clinical Biochemistry - Selected Chapters" aims to be a practical resource for senior medical students and new doctors studying laboratory medicine. It is designed to help them understand commonly used clinical-biochemical tests and serves as a starting point for a deeper exploration of laboratory methods and their application in diagnostic and monitoring procedures. In addition to an introductory chapter, the textbook contains 13 chapters focusing on disorders of water-ion and acid-base balance, biochemical diagnosis of various organ-related diseases (kidneys, liver, heart, thyroid gland, and adrenal glands), as well as common conditions like diabetes and dyslipidemia. It also covers topics, such as inflammation, oncological diseases, and iron and heme metabolism. The second edition of the textbook has been updated to reflect current changes in professional recommendations and to be more understandable for users.

Psychology is becoming increasingly important in people's lives. It is significant to research human behaviour and how people interact with their environment, as well as how they develop physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. A rising number of people have been both physically and mentally harmed in recent years as a result of cognitive, emotional, or behavioural disorders. It was determined that a study book on psychology for medical students was required.

RNA are noncellular organisms with ribonucleic acid (RNA) in their genome. In most viruses, RNA is single-stranded (ssRNA). An exception is made by reoviruses, whose RNA is double-stranded (dsRNA).In addition, RNA is either segmented (the genome consists of several RNA segments) or unsegmented (one long strand of RNA). RNA viruses that have only a protein capsid on their surface are non-enveloped. RNA viruses, which in addition to the capsid have an additional envelope made of a bilayer of lipids and proteins and specific glycoproteins, are enveloped. The content of the lecture is the classification of RNA viruses and, for selected groups of RNA viruses, structure, replication in the host cell, pathogenicity, diseases, laboratory diagnostics, therapy and prevention are described.

The book is primarily intended for first-year university students, but it is suitable for anyone who needs to learn. Students can find here the basic principles of learning, principles of how to preserve knowledge, how to concentrate without wasting time, how not to stress before a test or exam and many other practical tips. By acquiring simple knowledge, students will be able to learn effectively with the principles of brain-compatible learning in a way that they will acquire as much information as possible in the shortest period of time with maximum retention; that is minimal forgetting.
