Videos for practical lessons from Anatomy 3 - Neuroanatomy

Educational videos are intended for studying topics of external morphology including brain and spinal cord. Teachers from Department of Anatomy show important anatomical structures for students of General medicine. Videos can be used for individual studying to make learning simpler, faster and more efficient.

Practical lesson 1:  Introduction to Central Nervous system
Spinal cord, introduction; Cerebrum, medulla oblongata, introduction

Practical lesson 2:  Brainstem, Rhomboid fossa, Exits of cranial nerves from brainstem
Brainstem (truncus encephali), external morphology; Rhomboid fossa (fossa rhomboidea), external morphology; Exits of cranial nerves from brainstem (nervi craniales)

Practical lesson 3:  Mesencephalon, Cerebellum
Mesencephalon; Cerebellum, external morphology, Cerebellum et nucleus dentatus

Practical lesson 4:  Diencephalon, Thalamus, Facies medialis cerebri
Diencephalon - division: thalamus, epithalamus, metathalamus, hypothalamus. Thalamus - external description. Telencephalon - lobes, surfaces, gyri and sulci. Facies medialis cerebri (medial surface of telencephalon)

Practical lesson 5 - Gyri cerebrales, Nuclei basales
Telencephalon - gyri, sulci: facies superolateralis et inferior cerebri (superolateral and inferior surface of telencephalon. Nuclei basales (basal nuclei - division and external description. Capsula interna (internal capsule)

Practical lesson 6 - Ventriculus lateralis, Ventriculus III, Fornix
Cerebral ventricles. Ventriculus lateralis (Lateral ventricle) and its parts: cornu anterius (anterior horn), pars centralis (central part), cornu posterius et inferius (posterior and inferior horn), hippocampus, fornix. Ventriculus III. (Third ventricle), Arteries of CNS, Veins of CNS, Dura mater and subarachnoid cisterns, Exit of cranial nerves
