The subject Nursing Care 1 is conceived as theoretical and practical. The content of the subject establishes the principles of basic professional nursing and medical skills through simulation. Topics are almost concentrated on healthcare system in Slovakia, infection prevention and control, nursing care management of selected patient´s needs, and practicing bandages technics.
The subject is supported by online course in the Learning Management System of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice.
